Upper Willamette River Conservation & Recovery Plan for Chinook Salmon & Steelhead

Working with its Federal, state, tribal, and local partners, NOAA Fisheries adopted a recovery plan for Upper Willamette River Chinook and steelhead in 2011. The plan is based on the biological needs of Chinook and steelhead in each of the basin's watersheds--the Clackamas, Molalla, North Santiam, South Santiam, Calapooia, McKenzie, and Middle Fork Willamette. The plan provides a strategic approach to recovery that is based on science, supported by stakeholders, and action-oriented. The documents are available below.
