PacifiCorp Habitat Conservation Plan

PacifiCorp operates the Klamath Hydroelectric Project. To minimize and mitigate for adverse effects to coho salmon, PacificCorp prepared a Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) for its interim operations in the Klamath Hydroelectric Project. This HCP underlines the conservation strategy and measures that PacifiCorp will undertake to address anticipated effects on coho salmon and their habitat, specifically the Southern Oregon/Northern California Coast coho salmon population, during project operations in the Klamath River Basin. NOAA Fisheries issued an incidental take permit on February 24, 2012.

The final HCP is a very large file. Please e-mail wcr.webcontent@noaa.gov to request a CD of this document, and include your name and full mailing address.
